Hexe

You've met my dog Hexe in numerous demos, videos, and lessons. I stopped working with her competitively late last year. Retired life suits her well! Witch (“Hexe”) is now over 8.5 years old and loving a very relaxed, going on strolls, type lifestyle.

She’s traveled to Germany and Switzerland with me 3 times. She’s competed at 6 National Championships, 3 Regional Championships, and several club competitions. We failed twice overall!! … Not bad at all. We’ve traveled countless miles to train and compete. I can’t believe I reared 2 kids by myself, one of whom is special needs with 70+ hours of surgeries, while training this amazing dog with a pretty reliable performance record. How is that even possible? 10+ IGP3s, 2nd best Obedience at National Championship, 2nd best female at another National Championship. 4th and 5th place, respectively, at separate Regional Championships. Never a dull moment, never without an opinion that little pocket rocket.

I am infinitely grateful for all the memorable experiences she provided for us as a family, how she made me a better person, how she enabled me to make so many new friendships along the way, and how she ultimately prepped me for my next dog. A new era for the Witch, I’m so happy for you!!
